Senior leader responsible for shaping and elevating Doximity's reputation in the clinician health technology and AI ecosystem. This role will design and execute an integrated communications strategy that advances the company's brand, strengthens trust with key stakeholders, and clearly articulates its impact on clinicians, patients, and the broader healthcare system.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and lead a comprehensive public relations strategy that supports the company’s mission, business objectives, and growth priorities in digital health.
  2. Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership on reputation, media strategy, and external narrative, including issues with potential brand or policy implications.
  3. Own and elevate the company’s media presence across business, technology, healthcare, and policy outlets, cultivating strong relationships with top-tier and trade journalists.
  4. Lead reputation management initiatives, including corporate positioning, social impact stories, and long-term narrative arcs around innovation, trust, and clinical value.
  5. Build and maintain robust issues and crisis communications plans, including scenario planning, escalation frameworks, and holding statements tailored to the healthcare and technology context.

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in public relations or strategic communications, including substantial leadership responsibility.
  • Significant experience in healthcare, health technology, life sciences, or closely related regulated industries; familiarity with clinical, regulatory, and policy dynamics.
  • Proven track record of elevating a company’s reputation, driving meaningful media coverage, and shaping public narratives in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders, managing agencies, and driving complex, cross-functional PR initiatives without direct team management responsibility.
  • Deep expertise in media relations, corporate communications, executive visibility, and issues/crisis management.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to connect emerging market trends, health policy developments, and technology innovation to differentiated storytelling opportunities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, persuasive narratives for diverse audiences, including clinicians, health systems, payers, policymakers, investors, and the public.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, from long-term planning to rapid response execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Public Policy, or a related field
