Cohere is seeking a VP of Sales for the Americas to lead enterprise sales efforts and drive revenue growth. This role involves developing go-to-market strategies, managing a sales team, and fostering relationships with enterprise clients and partners. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in VP-level sales leadership within technology organizations, a strong understanding of consultative solution sales, and experience in AI or a related industry is highly desirable.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop, execute, and lead a comprehensive go-to-market growth strategy and strategic sales plan for the Americas, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
  2. Provide strategic sales and operational leadership to Cohere’s cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  3. Serve as the primary representative of Cohere in the Americas, championing the company’s vision, products, and services.
  4. Partner with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to synchronize sales efforts with broader company goals.
  5. Manage and nurture relationships with enterprise-level clients and partners to ensure Cohere’s success in the region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating and closing high-value deals.
