This role is for a VP of Strategic Sales at Deepgram, a company focused on voice AI. The individual will lead the enterprise go-to-market strategy for Fortune 500 and strategic accounts, driving multi-million dollar ARR opportunities. Responsibilities include building and scaling an AE organization, driving executive engagement, personally closing large deals, partnering with various internal teams, and coaching AEs. The role emphasizes leveraging AI-enabled workflows and data-driven systems to improve sales productivity and operational scale. While the company is AI-focused and expects employees to use AI tools, this specific role is in sales leadership, not directly building or researching AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build, lead, and scale a high-performing Enterprise AE organization focused on Fortune 500 and strategic accounts.
  2. Own enterprise revenue growth across new logo acquisition and expansion within named accounts.
  3. Drive executive engagement strategy across top accounts, including C-suite relationship development, executive sponsor alignment, and strategic account reviews.
  4. Personally engage in Deepgram’s largest and most strategic opportunities from discovery through close.
  5. Partner with Sales Leadership on territory planning, account segmentation, forecasting, pipeline strategy, and enterprise GTM execution.
