This role is for a VP of Talent Acquisition at EvenUp, a rapidly growing vertical SaaS company focused on the legal tech space. The individual will lead and scale the global recruiting function, focusing on building a high-performing talent engine. Key responsibilities include owning global talent strategy, leading the TA team, partnering with business leaders, building scalable infrastructure, using data for decision-making, leveraging AI and automation in recruiting, and elevating the employer brand. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of TA experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at a high-growth B2B SaaS company, and possesses strong executive presence and expertise in modern, AI-enabled recruiting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own global talent strategy: Design and execute a recruiting strategy that supports aggressive growth across technical, GTM, and leadership roles, with scalable systems that get 1% better every day.
  2. Lead a high-performing organization: Build, develop, and inspire a team of Talent Acquisition leaders and professionals; set clear standards for excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  3. Partner with the business: Build trust with the VP of People, Finance, and executive leaders by aligning hiring plans to business priorities, roadmaps, and headcount models, and by delivering on commitments.
  4. Build scalable infrastructure: Own recruiting processes, workflows, and systems (including Ashby, Metaview, assessment tools and more) to drive efficiency, transparency, and a consistently strong candidate and hiring manager experience.
  5. Operate with data and urgency: Use analytics to forecast hiring needs, identify bottlenecks, measure quality, and make fast, informed tradeoffs in a high-growth environment.

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years of Talent Acquisition experience
  • 5+ years leading TA in a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology company
  • Proven success building and scaling recruiting organizations through rapid growth
  • Executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders through credibility and trust
  • Deep expertise in recruiting operations, systems, analytics, and workforce planning
  • Hands-on, owner mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and bias for action
  • A clear point of view on modern, AI-enabled recruiting and continuous improvement
