PayPal is seeking a VP of Talent Management and Belonging to lead global strategy and execution of integrated talent programs, including Diversity, Inclusion, Equity & Belonging (DIE&B), across its 28,000+ employees. This role will shape and lead global talent, leadership, and workforce strategy from onboarding to succession planning, driving organizational design and fostering an inclusive employee experience. A key focus will be embedding DIE&B and PayPal’s Leadership Principles into all aspects of the employee experience, with an emphasis on evolving towards a skills-based organization and leveraging AI/emerging technologies in talent management. The role also involves partnering with People Analytics for workforce planning and retention insights, establishing metrics for DIE&B initiatives, and driving career frameworks and internal mobility strategies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and implement a fully integrated, enterprise-wide approach to talent programs, including onboarding, learning & development, performance management, promotions, and succession planning, with a focus on skills, career growth, and a high-performance culture
  2. Lead and scale PayPal’s global learning and development strategy, ensuring alignment with business and talent priorities
  3. Develop and deliver leadership development programs to build a strong pipeline of future leaders
  4. Partner closely with Compensation to evolve and implement pay-for-performance frameworks that reinforce a culture of accountability
  5. Establish standards and frameworks for talent planning, including assessment of potential, retention risk, critical roles, promotion pipelines, and actionable development plans
