Meta is seeking a VP of Total Rewards to lead the enterprise strategy, design, and optimization of global compensation and benefits. This role will advise executives and the Board, manage strategic priorities in a competitive talent market, and evolve Meta's job architecture, including transitioning to AI-driven frameworks. The VP will oversee global compensation processes, sales incentive plans, and benefits programs, while building and developing a high-performing Total Rewards team. Experience with AI tools for workflow optimization and ethical AI practices is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the principal compensation advisor to the CEO, COO, and CFO, leveraging deep expertise to influence and drive top-level decisions.
  2. Lead executive compensation strategy, governance, and presentations for the Compensation Committee of the Board.
  3. Drive internal strategy in the compensation and benefits space, rapidly innovating to stay ahead of shifting business and market realities.
  4. Partner seamlessly with the Recruiting organization to architect and deliver a highly competitive, robust talent plan.
  5. Evolve Meta's job architecture—including leading the transition to AI-driven frameworks—to align with the changing nature of AI-impacted roles.

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years of progressive HR/Compensation experience
  • Prior VP-level leadership at a strategically led, complex global organization
  • Deep expertise in executive compensation design
  • Proven experience presenting to a Board's Compensation Committee
  • Developing the Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) for the annual Proxy
  • Extensive experience designing and managing broad-based compensation programs
  • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., ERISA, FLSA, SOX, ACA, SEC)
  • Managing international scope, including global pay gap reporting
  • Leading large-scale organizational transformations
  • Excellence in change management
  • Strong risk tolerance
  • Courage to challenge established practices
  • Strategic mindset capable of connecting total rewards strategies directly to business outcomes
  • Demonstrated creativity in program design
  • Exceptional executive-level influencing and partnership skills
