This role is for a Sr. Warehouse Coordinator II responsible for daily planning and coordination of inbound and outbound deliveries, managing shipping documents, and supporting warehouse operations. The role also involves acting as a training and learning lead for the site, onboarding, and cross-training associates. Key responsibilities include managing shipment exceptions, maintaining documentation in SAP EWM, monitoring work queues, identifying process gaps, ensuring adherence to Dangerous Goods handling, and training new hires and existing associates. Qualifications include 5+ years of warehouse/logistics experience, proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with on-the-job training. SAP WM or EWM experience is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage shipment and process exceptions (e.g., incorrect quantities, damage, missing or incorrect documentation) and drive timely resolution with internal and external partners.
  2. Maintain organized, accurate shipping and receiving documentation in SAP EWM and other Rivian systems.
  3. Monitor work queues, dispatch associates to priority work, and act as a floor‑based point of contact for questions and escalations.
  4. Identify and communicate process gaps, safety or quality risks, and continuous improvement opportunities across inbound, outbound, and inventory flows.
  5. Ensure adherence to Dangerous Goods handling and shipping requirements and related documentation.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics related roles
  • Experience with providing on the job training
  • Working knowledge in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong collaborator, with willingness to drive change cross functionally
  • Understanding of Dangerous Goods shipping requirements
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day
  • Frequent use of hands to handle materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to stoop and kneel to retrieve materials up to 50 lbs. under select racking or floor pile locations
  • Required to communicate using telephone or email
  • Ability to view, read, and interpret documents, safety rules, and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
