This role supports the day-to-day operations of Wayve's warehouse and stores function, ensuring efficient and accurate material management. It involves managing inventory, coordinating shipping/receiving, defining handling protocols for sensitive electronics and automotive sensors, and maintaining stock integrity. The role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional communication, and familiarity with stock management systems. It is critical for supporting Wayve's growth and the development of its Embodied AI technology for automated driving.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and control inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all stock bookings, kittings, and cycle counts.
  2. Organize and label storage space to maintain clear and efficient warehouse operations.
  3. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping/receiving processes, ensuring smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  4. Define and implement material handling and storage processes in the UK in coordination with the Warehouse Manager.
  5. Carry out accurate and timely bookings and kittings aligned with inbound deliveries and build plans.

Skills

Required

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics, ideally within a high-tech or automotive R&D environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with multiple teams.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with stock management systems, ERP platforms, or warehouse management software (preferred).
