Warehouse Worker role focused on packing, loading, and shipping items in a food distribution center. Responsibilities include following safety procedures, ensuring accurate merchandise processing, and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Requires physical ability to lift and move merchandise, basic math skills, and ability to operate basic equipment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
  2. Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests.
  3. Ensure accurate processing of merchandise to our stores and guests.
  4. Work safely, quickly and efficiently to handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse.
  5. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.

Skills

Required

  • Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.
  • Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift.
  • Able to push utility carts up to 60lbs, use carts, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items.
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Work at a height of up to 40 ft on a mezzanine (where applicable).
  • Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
  • Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
  • Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40ft where applicable.
  • Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.

  • Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerator and freezer.
