Warfighting Systems Analyst, Maritime

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Quincy, MA · Maritime & Maneuver Dominance : Maritime Advanced Capabilities : Operations Analysis

This role focuses on analyzing and optimizing defense systems, translating operational needs into system architecture and technical performance. It involves using models and simulations to assess alternatives, conducting trade studies, and designing/executing wargames for autonomous systems. The role requires experience in Operations Research, Systems Analysis, and military M&S tools, with a strong emphasis on connecting system design to mission outcomes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze system performance, architecture, integration options, and design trades in the context of operational mission needs
  2. Translate warfighting requirements and operational constraints into system-level parameters, performance thresholds, and analytic frameworks
  3. Leverage high-end models and simulations, including Anduril's Lattice Mission Simulation and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM), to conduct studies
  4. Support engineering and product teams by evaluating how platform, payload, autonomy, sensor, effector, communications, navigation, or C2 choices affect mission outcomes
  5. Conduct trade studies comparing alternative system configurations, architectures, payloads, deployment concepts, and operational employment models
