This role is for an Assistant Producer in the local animation production department at Warner Bros. Japan. The primary responsibilities include assisting managers and chief producers with production issues, sourcing and developing original works for anime adaptation, negotiating with publishers, overseeing animation production, staffing key creative roles, supervising scripts and storyboards, managing production schedules and budgets, and supporting marketing activities. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in anime production and a good understanding of marketing plans and the animation production process.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist the Animation Manager/Chief Producer with production issues arising in connection with Warner's local animation production for Warner Bros. Japan
  2. Sourcing materials of original works for anime adaptation
  3. Request and negotiate with publishers of original works for permission to animate
  4. Approval coordination of animation for publishers, animation studios and related parties
  5. Manage the production schedule of animation studio

Skills

Required
