What you'd actually do

  1. Assist senior team members in the sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring of private investment funds (and direct co-investments, to a lesser extent).
  2. Attend meetings with prospective and existing fund managers.
  3. Build specific knowledge of private markets and actively follow ongoing trends.
  4. Complete rigorous investment analysis, including assessment of fund managers’ prior track record, operational metrics, cash flows, and value creation.
  5. Create detailed investment collateral including investment committee presentations.

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in investment banking, investment due diligence, portfolio management, or a similar investment role.
  • AI / LLMs (intermediate/strong required)
  • MS Excel (intermediate/strong required)
  • MS PowerPoint (intermediate/strong required)
  • Excellent quantitative skills, including understanding of basic corporate finance concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including representing JPMorgan in internal/external meetings.
  • Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and learn new concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
