What you'd actually do

  1. Lead modernization of credit risk administration processes, advancing automation, data‑driven decisioning, and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and advanced analytics, to simplify workflows and improve scalability
  2. Establish and continuously refine the target operating model, including centralization strategy, service delivery design, and partnership with operations and other stakeholders
  3. Apply deep knowledge of credit processes, including credit approval processes, monitoring, documentation, and regulatory expectations; engage credibly with Credit Officers and independently challenge and improve existing practices
  4. Set priorities aligned to business objectives and ensure effective execution of policy and process enhancements
  5. Oversee credit processes, data, and controls; identify structural risks; drive root cause remediation; and lead governance routines, control reporting, and issue management

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of experience in commercial or investment banking credit, or related risk, control, or operational roles
  • Strong understanding of credit processes, including credit structuring, analysis, monitoring, documentation, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience leading control frameworks, governance routines, and process design across complex environments
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience driving process improvement through automation and data-driven solutions
  • Ability to translate business and risk requirements into scalable solutions
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive execution in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in control and process oversight
