Role Definition
As a Wiring Technician, you will wire sub-pans, door devices, and other pertinent power equipment with minimal supervision according to Caterpillar Switchgear Americas (CSA) standards and drawings.
What You Will Do
- Wire and route harness's neatly with or without the use of wire loom, according to CSA standards.
- Understand the difference between AC and DC voltages and able to accurately and timely perform all wiring duties on sub panels, door devices and enclosures.
- Perform all other duties accurately and meet scheduled deadlines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Team Lead, Supervisor and Section Manager.
- Understand the usage of hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, washers, etc. according to CSA Procedures Manual.
What You Will Have:
- High diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of experience working in the electrical field
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Top candidates will have:
- Ability to understand, assemble and/or wire to diagrams / schematics with precise detail
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive operations
- Ability to lift to 35 lbs.
Shift
- Monday – Thursday; 5AM – 3:30PM – Additional overtime as needed

Summary Pay Range:
$20.65 - $26.85
