This role focuses on ensuring the quality of Bluetooth-enabled features across Apple's product lineup. The engineer will be responsible for testing, validation, and driving engineering partnerships. A key aspect of the role involves designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks, including robotics-based systems, to validate next-generation Bluetooth connectivity. The role also involves developing innovative test tools using Generative AI to improve workflows and test coverage.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end quality for cutting-edge Bluetooth features through rigorous manual and automated testing across the latest Apple products
  2. Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and robotics-based systems to validate Bluetooth connectivity at scale
  3. Champion product quality by identifying root causes, driving impactful bug fixes, and partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver exceptional wireless experiences
  4. Build, maintain, and continuously improve test infrastructure, automation scripts, and robotics setups that evolve alongside our products
  5. Develop innovative test tools and solutions leveraging Generative AI to streamline workflows, accelerate test coverage, and drive measurable productivity gains across the quality engineering team

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience testing and validating products, with domain expertise in one or more of the following: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, Audio, or Networking
  • 3+ years of experience developing test automation scripts using Python, Perl, or similar languages
  • 1+ year of experience working with Generative AI tools and large language models (LLMs)
