Wix is seeking a student engineer for their Enter Program to work on real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience in production-grade systems. The role involves collaborating with experienced engineers, participating in the full development lifecycle, and building end-to-end features across the stack. A key aspect of the role is mastering AI-augmented development tools and workflows, using AI as a core teammate to design and build features for Wix's user base, while critically evaluating AI-generated outputs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with experienced engineers to build scalable, high-performance systems
  2. Participate in the full development lifecycle, taking full ownership of complete features from design and architecture to production
  3. Build end-to-end features across the entire stack, including frontend and backend, as part of the xEngineering philosophy
  4. Focus on high-level human judgment areas such as system design, architecture, security, and scalability
  5. Master AI-augmented development tools and workflows to build your technical capabilities

Skills

Required

  • Computer science or software engineering students graduating in January 2028 or later
  • Familiar with at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, or Python)
  • Use of AI tools (such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot) on development projects
  • Critical thinking skills to validate, question, and improve AI-generated outputs rather than blindly accepting them
  • High curiosity and a proactive mindset for learning in a fast-paced, AI-first environment
  • Passionate about software development and learning new technologies
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a "get things done" attitude
