Work Transfer Principal Specialist

This role is for a Work Transfer Principal Specialist in Supply Chain, focusing on managing and executing work transfer projects for multiple part transitions and suppliers across various commodities. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with procedures, establishing project priorities, mitigating risks, leading root cause analysis for project setbacks, and serving as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and timely execute "To Buy" Collins Managed Work Transfer Gates 3 and 4 for multiple part transition projects and Suppliers within our global supply base across up to 7 different commodities
  2. Support process continuous improvement activities that drive efficiencies into our process
  3. Partner and effectively communicate project status, health, and help needed with cross-functional and cross-level internal Stakeholders/Customers and external Suppliers
  4. Ensure use and compliance to COL-PRO-0008 (Collins Work Transfer procedure)
  5. Establish project priorities that will execute key deliverables to a planned baseline and mitigate all internal and external customer production impacts, as well as internal financial and savings based risks
