This role is for a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant at Deloitte, focusing on implementing and transforming finance, supply chain, and manufacturing processes for large enterprise clients. The role involves leading project workstreams, gathering business requirements, functional design, prototyping, testing, user training, and defining support procedures within Workday Financials, Supply Chain Management, and Adaptive Planning solutions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leads project workstreams, identification and documentation of business requirements and requirements management.
  2. Provide functional design, prototyping (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, user training, defining support procedures.
  3. Additional duties may include: coordination of schedules, creation of documentation and collateral, creation and execution of test / use cases, configuration of Workday software, assisting with prioritization and sequencing of the workstream’s efforts and assisting project leadership as required.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of consulting or industry experience
  • 2+ years leading EPM workstreams
  • Experience on two Workday Adaptive Planning or similar EPM implementations/deployments
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Workday Adaptive certification or successfully completing relevant Workday certification upon joining
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average

Nice to have

  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization
  • Strong functional knowledge around EPM financial systems and processes
  • A proven resource in defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements
  • Willingness to mentor junior staff
