Workday Finance Business Analyst

This role is for a Workday Finance Business Analyst responsible for the configuration, support, and continuous improvement of Workday Financials. The analyst will partner with the Finance organization, resolve configuration issues, support enhancements, and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives. The role requires strong stakeholder management and understanding of finance and accounting concepts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary Workday Financials administrator and day-to-day support contact for the Finance team, triaging and resolving configuration issues, user requests, and system inquiries with a high degree of responsiveness and quality
  2. Diagnose and resolve Workday Financials configuration issues across modules, including Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Procurement, and/or Banking & Settlement
  3. Partner with Finance stakeholders to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional design specifications and Workday configuration solutions
  4. Support and deliver enhancements, new feature rollouts, and process improvements in Workday Financials, from requirements through testing and change management
  5. Participate in Workday semi-annual release cycles — reviewing release notes, assessing functional impact, coordinating user acceptance testing, and managing deployment
