Workday Tech Reporting Support

This role supports Workday Financials reporting, focusing on designing, building, testing, and maintaining reports and dashboards for finance-related modules. It involves gathering requirements, translating business needs into technical solutions, and troubleshooting reporting and data issues.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the intake, triage, prioritization, and resolution of Workday Financials reporting requests, defects, and enhancements across finance-related modules and reporting domains
  2. Design, build, test, and maintain Workday Financials reports and dashboards for areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, assets, expenses, procurement, and other finance functions, including advanced report types, calculated fields, prompts, filters, and data sources, with a focus on financial data accuracy, usability, and performance
  3. Gather reporting requirements from client stakeholders, translate finance and accounting business needs into technical solutions, and provide recommendations to address reporting issues and data challenges
  4. Lead reporting workstreams by coordinating priorities, tracking deliverables, identifying risks, and supporting testing and deployment activities for report changes and Workday releases
  5. Troubleshoot reporting and data issues through root-cause analysis across Workday Financials configuration, security, business processes, and effective-dated transactions, and document findings and resolutions
