Synthesia is seeking a Workplace Manager for their London office to oversee daily operations, enhance the employee experience, and ensure the office runs seamlessly. This role involves managing front-of-house, facilities, vendor relationships, and implementing workplace initiatives to support culture and engagement. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and has at least 4 years of experience in workplace or office management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own front-of-house operations, including reception and visitor experience
  2. Manage the day-to-day running of the London office and overall workplace experience
  3. Create and maintain a high-quality, welcoming, and well-functioning office environment
  4. Act as the primary point of contact for all workplace, facilities, and office-related needs
  5. Build and manage relationships with building management, external vendors

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years experience in workplace, office management or similar roles
  • Tech-savvy, familiar with Google Workplace, Notion & Slack
  • An onsite approach, working from our London office 4 days per week
  • Approachable and confident in a front-of-house & employee facing role
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and maintain high standards
  • Strong organizational and operational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable and willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities
  • Solutions-oriented, proactive self-starter who takes ownership
  • Comfortable handling workplace logistics, deliveries, and facilities requests
  • Experience organizing office events and employee engagement activities
