Synthesia is seeking a Workplace Manager for their NYC office. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a positive employee experience, managing vendors, and supporting office culture. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in workplace management, is tech-savvy, highly organized, and solutions-oriented.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own front-of-house operations, including reception and visitor experience
  2. Manage the day-to-day running of the new New York office and overall workplace experience
  3. Manage existing office vendors and source new ones as needed
  4. Coordinate logistics for office visits both internal & external
  5. Establish and maintain office procedures and administrative systems including detailed guides and manuals for employees and the workplace team

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years experience in workplace, office management, or similar hands-on roles
  • Tech-savvy thinking, experience with Google Workspace, Notion & Slack
  • Solutions-oriented, proactive self-starter who takes ownership of problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask while maintaining a high standard of the physical space
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on day-to-day execution
  • Adaptable and willing to take on a wide range of office-related tasks
