What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end-to-end workplace and guest experience for the NY office, setting and maintaining standards for safety, functionality, and employee satisfaction
  2. Proactively identify operational improvements and lead implementation; maintain office systems, SOPs, and documentation to support a growing team
  3. Oversee and manage day-to-day Workplace operations in the office, including janitorial services, food & beverage, repairs/maintenance, interior plants/landscaping, security, shipping services, seating plans, office supplies, and maintaining FF&E.
  4. Develop and manage the office operating budget; track spend, identify savings, and make data-informed recommendations
  5. Create a warm, inclusive office environment that reflects Harvey's values and culture

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in Workplace/facility management, workplace operations, or a similar role, ideally at a fast-growing tech or startup company
  • Demonstrated foundational understanding of office systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting) and can communicate effectively with trades to resolve issues.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and organize assigned work efficiently.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and project management tools used to track and manage tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple (sometimes conflicting) priorities with attention to detail
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly
