This role is for a Workplace Manager at The Trade Desk, a global technology company in digital advertising. The manager will oversee daily operations for an office location, focusing on creating a 'best in class' workplace experience. Responsibilities include managing vendor services, driving communications, building stakeholder relations, and identifying improvement opportunities. The role requires strong hospitality, customer-centricity, independent work, project management, and excellent communication and mentorship skills. The manager will lead efforts in employee/guest experience, office communications, facilities, space planning, culture activation, events, and shipping/receiving. They will also manage vendor relationships, budgets, and special projects, while assessing office morale and ensuring a safe and secure workplace.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead efforts to elevate the holistic workplace experience by demonstrating a strong hospitality focus across wide array of services such as employee and guest arrival experience, office communications, food and beverage, facilities, health and safety, space planning, office culture activation, office events support, and shipping and receiving
  2. Maintain and influenceeffective relationships with senior business leaders and teams across functional areas throughout the organization that effectively balance the needs of the workplace team, the office, and the business
  3. Lead communication efforts for our team, communicate difficult concepts across various platforms with professionalism, creativity, and clarity in a way that effectively influences others
  4. Partner with members of the Real Estate and Workplace Services team and other departments to help ensure successful completion of special office projects
  5. Actively assess the pulse of the office by engaging with employees at all levels of the organization and sharing insights with the workplace leadership team to achieve successful organizational outcomes
