This role is for a Workplace Operations Program Manager at Discord, responsible for the day-to-day physical operation of the San Francisco HQ, including facilities, vendor management, and employee experience programs. What you'd actually do

  1. Own the day-to-day physical operation of the office — including morning restocking of kitchens, common areas, and supplies; beverage and fridge management; shower room upkeep; reception; mailroom operations; and coffee machine maintenance
  2. Manage food, beverage, and lunch service programs end-to-end, including vendor relationships, employee messaging, usage monitoring, and budget alignment
  3. Manage vendor relationships and service delivery across HQ — including janitorial, Creative Plant, Cintas, and other contractors — holding partners accountable to SLAs and presenting optimization recommendations
  4. Design and implement employee engagement programs that strengthen company culture and create moments of surprise and delight that reflect our values
  5. Develop and iterate workplace policies and processes that maximize operational efficiency
