About Team: The team owns the full lifecycle delivery and technical ownership of the AR eyepiece system, with core responsibilities covering imaging quality, visual comfort, binocular vision, and vision correction functions. It drives cross-functional collaboration to optimize optical performance, ergonomics, and user experience, ensuring the optical module meets mass production requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and design of material solutions, process solutions, and optical solutions for tunable lenses.
- Collaborate with suppliers to complete the NRE development of tunable lenses, including technical selection, customized specification definition, overall solution design and development.
- Independently undertake the development, assembly and debugging of high-precision optical testing equipment.
- Responsible for the system integration of tunable lenses and XR headset overall solutions and use FEA tool to solve multi-physics problem.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- PhD degree in Physics, Electronics, Optics, Mechanics, Materials Science or related fields.
- Practical experience in multi-physics field simulation and finite element analysis.
- Solid foundational knowledge of geometric optics; proficient in optical path setup, alignment and debugging.
- Hands-on R&D experience in system-level optical design with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mass production experience in consumer electronic optical modules is highly preferred.
- R&D experience in miniature precision actuators is a plus.
- Prior experience in liquid encapsulation, hyperelastic materials, fluid-structure interaction, liquid crystal lenses, ultra-precision manufacturing, etc.
