This role is for an Account Executive at Axon, a company that develops AI-powered products for public safety. The Account Executive will own the full sales cycle for law enforcement agencies, focusing on prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals for Axon's hardware, software, and service solutions. This is a quota-carrying, commission-driven role with significant growth potential.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the entire sales cycle for a defined territory, from prospecting and discovery through close and expansion
  2. Manage a book of business focused on small city law enforcement agencies (16–40 sworn officers)
  3. Drive pipeline through a balanced mix of outbound prospecting and inbound opportunities
  4. Build relationships with key law enforcement stakeholders and decision-makers
  5. Deliver tailored product demonstrations via phone, web conferencing, and onsite visits

Skills

Required

  • 2-3 years of full-cycle sales experience, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing
  • Proven success in a quota-carrying, commission-driven role
  • Experience managing multiple accounts and longer sales cycles
  • Strong CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Coachable, collaborative, and motivated by results
