Role description
As an HR Programs and Talent Specialist will be a key driver within the Booking Holdings Romania People Team, bridging the gap between essential HR Generalist support and the strategic delivery of talent programs. You will own key initiatives, ensuring our "People Roadmap" is translated into high-impact reality for our company. Beyond day-to-day operations, you will lead high-impact projects and partner with diverse stakeholders to drive transformation and strengthen the HR practice across the organization.
In this role, you will work closely with the Head of HR, HRBPs, Learning and HR operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery of key HR processes.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
Program Management & Talent Initiatives
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Lead the planning and execution of local HR initiatives, including Early Career Programs, Great Place to Work Certification, and Inclusion programs, ensuring milestones are met and ROI is tracked.
- Talent Cycle Oversight: Lead the execution and adoption of critical talent processes, including performance management, talent planning, and employee engagement surveys.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Support HRBPs in partnering with the business leaders to identify talent gaps and design tailored program solutions that drive performance and retention.
- AI & Digital Transformation: Partner with HR stakeholders to integrate AI-driven solutions into the employee lifecycle, fostering an "AI-first" mindset to personalize communication and streamline workflows.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use metrics to track program impact (ROI) and provide insights to leadership.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Journey Architecture: Optimize the Onboarding and Offboarding experience, using exit interview data and new-hire feedback to continuously improve the employer brand.
- Culture Stewardship: Act as a pulse-taker for employee sentiment, implementing initiatives that enhance inclusion, and overall employee belonging.
- Community & Inclusion: Partner with the Head of HR and Community Leads to foster a vibrant, inclusive workplace through proactive engagement roadmaps.
- Employee Relations: Support HRBPs in managing sensitive employee relations cases with a focus on risk mitigation and fair resolution.
- Advisory: Support HRBPs in providing guidance on HR policies, processes and procedures to managers and employees.
Role Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of HR experience in an international environment, ideally combining HR generalist/advisory roles with project or program coordination.
- Strong accountability with a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong relationship-building, consultative and influencing skills; and exceptional interpersonal skills to interact and communicate with diplomacy and tact with all levels.
- A high degree of judgment and discretion, adaptability, strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team, with a "can-do" attitude, solution-oriented, and the ability to navigate ambiguity with proactiveness.
- Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with HCM systems (e.g., Workday, Service Now) and a data-driven approach to identifying trends.
