Business Development Manager

This role is for a Recruiter focused on sourcing and hiring independent sales consultants across France for Square. The primary responsibility is to build and scale the field sales force by recruiting 20-30 consultants per month, managing the end-to-end recruitment process, and collaborating with sales leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Sourcer et attirer des consultants commerciaux indépendants (auto-entrepreneurs) de haute qualité via de multiples canaux incluant les sites d'emploi, les réseaux sociaux, les événements de networking, les recommandations et l'approche directe.
  2. Gérer le processus de recrutement de bout en bout pour 20 à 30 consultants indépendants par mois, en assurant qualité et rapidité.
  3. Développer et exécuter des stratégies de sourcing créatives pour construire un pipeline solide de candidats qualifiés.
  4. Présélectionner les candidats sur leurs aptitudes commerciales, leur état d'esprit entrepreneurial, leur adéquation culturelle et leur alignement avec les valeurs de Square.
  5. Collaborer étroitement avec les Responsables des Ventes Régionaux et les Team Leaders pour comprendre les besoins de recrutement régionaux et les profils de candidats.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience with a strong track record of high-volume recruiting.
  • Proven experience recruiting independent contractors, self-employed individuals, or freelance sales professionals.
  • Deep understanding of the French self-employed landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes and building candidate pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed recruiting goals in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent sourcing skills across multiple channels (job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, etc.).
  • Strong candidate interviewing and assessment skills, particularly for sales roles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to track, analyze, and optimize recruiting metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and cross-functional partners.
  • Self-starter and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment.
