Collaboration Engineer (onsite)

This role focuses on managing and improving physical conference rooms, broadcast AV systems, and collaboration software (Zoom, Slack, Teams) to enhance global hybrid workforce collaboration. It involves setting standards, leading event production, upgrading AV systems, managing integrations, identifying new tools, and providing executive support. The role requires experience in Client Engineering or Pro AV, IT systems, and ITIL principles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Take ownership of all conferencing and collaboration systems at Axon
  2. Set and ensure a global standard for collaboration spaces across all Axon offices
  3. Lead production for internal facing broadcast events and webinars
  4. Upgrade and maintain our Pro AV systems for internal broadcast events
  5. Manage integrations across our collaboration tools including Zoom, Slack, Teams and various SaaS toolsets

Skills

Required

  • Client Engineering or Pro AV technician experience
  • Pro AV gear design and setup
  • AV production for live and virtual events
  • Core IT systems understanding (network, Azure AD, Okta)
  • ITIL principles and change control adherence

What the JD emphasized

  • 3+ years of experience working as a Client Engineer or Pro AV technician
  • Experience with the design and setup of Pro AV gear including video mixers, switching equipment and live sound
  • Experience running AV production for both live and virtual events
  • Demonstrated understanding of core IT systems such as network, Azure Active Directory, and Okta
  • Familiarity with ITIL principles and adherence to change control processes
