What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the end-to-end customer lifecycle for pilots - personally driving everything from the first sales pitch to the physical hardware installation to ensure a deep, first-hand understanding of the local customer journey
  2. Collaborate with the team and customers to understand customer needs, translating insights into actions that shape product iteration and business model development
  3. Work with teams across Toast to ensure that new markets integrate into our business systems
  4. Build and manage financial models to support decision-making on customer segments, pricing and investments across these new markets
  5. Work with go-to-market stakeholders to prepare their organizations for scaling the new market as it becomes ready for full launch

Skills

Required

  • Deep experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Sales, onboarding, customer support/success, professional services or growth with a strong bias for action
  • The ideal candidate thrives on the ambiguity of early stage products and has generalist skills that are applicable across the entire product development lifecycle
  • Comfort working in an ambiguous fast-paced environment with a willingness to learn new things and tackle a range of challenges as they arise
  • A track record of collaborating with product teams to drive product market fit in new markets or verticals
  • Customer obsession; you love seeing customers solve their problems with new products
  • Experience implementing processes and configuring business systems to help the operations to scale
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with an ability to build strong relationships both within and outside of the organization

Nice to have
