This role is for a Director of Global Credit and Collections at Axon, focusing on leading worldwide credit risk and order-to-cash operations. The responsibilities include shaping global credit strategy, driving transformation in cash collections, leading a team, gathering customer requirements for invoicing, partnering with various internal departments, driving business requirements for enabling technologies, developing best practices for cash collections and reducing bad debts, leading data standards initiatives, and owning internal controls. The role also involves overseeing collections strategies, credit risk management, and governance/compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Gain a deep understanding of customer quotes, orders, contracts, revenue and billing schedules, and the unique variety of solutions Axon offers its customers
  2. Partner with key stakeholders to implement internal controls and processes to drive accurate billing for customers based on their unique requirements
  3. Help lead the delivery of process and technology enhancements, working cross-functionally to identify and recommend optimal solutions
  4. Define and deliver change management programs to stakeholders, helping ensure minimal business disruption as process and technology changes are implemented, and that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined
  5. Partner with IT teams to design, test and implement proposed technology changes which aid in more effective and efficient credit review and invoicing / collection processes
