This role is for a Director of Global Credit and Collections, responsible for leading worldwide credit risk and order-to-cash operations. The position involves shaping global credit strategy, driving cash collections transformation, and managing a team across multiple regions. Key responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, partnering with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Success, Finance, IT), driving policy development, process design, operational excellence, and change management. The role also involves establishing reserves, understanding customer contracts and billing within CRM/ERP systems, and delivering enabling technologies for accurate invoicing and timely collection. It requires owning internal controls, managing credit risk, and leading ERP/Order to Cash platform enhancements. The role is customer-facing at times and involves managing a team of approximately 20 employees.

What you'd actually do

  1. Gain a deep understanding of customer quotes, orders, contracts, revenue and billing schedules, and the unique variety of solutions Axon offers its customers
  2. Partner with key stakeholders to implement internal controls and processes to drive accurate billing for customers based on their unique requirements
  3. Help lead the delivery of process and technology enhancements, working cross-functionally to identify and recommend optimal solutions
  4. Define and deliver change management programs to stakeholders, helping ensure minimal business disruption as process and technology changes are implemented, and that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined
  5. Partner with IT teams to design, test and implement proposed technology changes which aid in more effective and efficient credit review and invoicing / collection processes
