Director, Global Credit and Collections

This role leads global credit risk and order-to-cash operations, focusing on shaping credit strategy, driving cash collections transformation, and managing a team across multiple regions. The Director will partner with various internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Finance, IT) to gather customer requirements, develop policies, design processes, and implement technology solutions for accurate invoicing and timely collection. Key responsibilities include managing internal controls, reporting on metrics like DSO and bad debt, overseeing collections strategies, establishing credit policies, and supporting automation of credit risk assessment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Gain a deep understanding of customer quotes, orders, contracts, revenue and billing schedules, and the unique variety of solutions Axon offers its customers
  2. Partner with key stakeholders to implement internal controls and processes to drive accurate billing for customers based on their unique requirements
  3. Help lead the delivery of process and technology enhancements, working cross-functionally to identify and recommend optimal solutions
  4. Define and deliver change management programs to stakeholders, helping ensure minimal business disruption as process and technology changes are implemented, and that roles and responsibilities are clearly defined
  5. Partner with IT teams to design, test and implement proposed technology changes which aid in more effective and efficient credit review and invoicing / collection processes
