Tenstorrent is seeking a Director, RISC-V Software TPM & Ops to act as a hybrid Chief of Staff and execution-focused TPM for the RISC-V software organization. This role involves defining team goals, creating executable plans, driving cross-functional initiatives, improving planning and execution, managing risks, supporting headcount planning and recruiting, and preparing materials for customer engagements. The ideal candidate is a senior operator with strategic thinking, strong execution skills, and the ability to drive complex technical initiatives in ambiguous environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with RISC-V software workstream leaders to define, track, and execute team milestones.
  2. Build dependency tracking and risk mitigation paths to solve bottlenecks before they escalate.
  3. Drive cross-functional initiatives across software delivery, engineering infrastructure, and external asks.
  4. Support headcount planning, recruiting logistics, and hiring loop discipline to scale the organization.
  5. Filter inbound noise and prepare pitch/presentation materials so leadership can focus on high-value work.
