What you'd actually do

  1. Manage one or more teams of software engineers (typically between 5 and 10 people in total).
  2. Create a culture of ownership and technical excellence, leading by example.
  3. Empower engineers to develop their careers by providing ad-hoc and structured coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  4. Contribute to projects by guiding architectural discussions, providing technical coaching to software engineers and occasionally getting hands-on with code when it materially accelerates outcomes.
  5. Drive team efforts to establish and execute bottom-up technical roadmaps that support the Messaging & Rewards strategy (e.g. enterprise messaging hub, new channels, AI-assisted workflows, rewards platform evolution).
