Enterprise Account Executive

Enterprise Account Executive responsible for increasing software sales and driving expansion within a territory of large enterprise accounts. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and leveraging relationships to grow Smartsheet's footprint. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SaaS sales, experience with enterprise-level clients, and a data-driven approach. While not directly building AI, the role is expected to use AI tools to enhance sales storytelling and understand customer needs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed software and services sales quotas within your book of business (Verticals High Tech, Semiconductor, Healthcare Life Sciences, Finserve, Retail)
  2. Execute a solution-based sales process encompassing multiple groups within Enterprise Accounts or equivalent to 15k+ employee size
  3. Manage strategic renewals with IT and the Business Units within Large Enterprise Accounts
  4. Develop and prospect whitespace opportunities within existing customers by analyzing and proactively targeting high-value needs across multiple departments and lines of business
  5. Leverage existing relationships to expand Smartsheet's footprint into other departments within the account and drive revenue or growth during renewals
