Block (Square) is seeking a Field Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of Territory Account Executives. The role involves active coaching, pipeline management, and building a high-performance sales culture within the fintech domain. The focus is on driving revenue growth through a blend of in-person and outbound sales strategies, requiring deep sales expertise and leadership experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop Territory Account Executives through active, in-market coaching — from sourcing and opening conversations to consultative discovery, competitive positioning, and closing with clarity.
  2. Model world-class selling by joining prospect and customer meetings, demonstrating product fluency, value articulation, and decisive deal strategy.
  3. Manage pipeline and KPIs with rigor — diagnosing gaps, identifying risks, expanding coverage, and guiding AEs to create and progress high-quality opportunities.
  4. Run disciplined weekly pipeline, forecast, and deal reviews that drive action, accountability, and predictable outcomes across multiple markets.
  5. Hire, onboard, and develop AEs to ramp quickly, deepen product expertise, and consistently exceed quota.
