Instacart is seeking a Fraud & Identity Specialist to review transactions in real-time, identify fraudulent activities, and handle internal escalations to ensure the platform's security and stability. This role involves data review, pattern identification, and process improvement within a fast-paced, confidential environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify fraud patterns and conduct investigations to deter fraudulent/suspicious activities
  2. Maintain a queue of inbound customer appeals with time management and prioritization skills
  3. Recognize and present opportunities to improve and drive tasks to full resolution
  4. Complete live/ historical data reviews with a detail-oriented approach
  5. Execute on repetitive operational tasks while maintaining attention to detail and having an eye for process improvements

Required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make critical and sensitive issues quickly in a fast paced environment
  • Operate within a high degree of confidentiality
  • Weekends or holiday availability

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with ZenDesk or similar
