Global Supply Manager

This role is for a Global Supply Manager within Snap's procurement team, focusing on technically challenging supply chains for components like Waveguides, Displays, and Optical Engines. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead strategic commodities within the technically challenging supply chain for Waveguides, Displays and Optical Engines
  2. Provide technical support to other internal team members
  3. Provide expert commercial & technical support to source high quality parts and sub-assemblies that meet all performance, functional and commercial criteria
  4. Drive design to cost – look at ways to achieve the optimal technology at the optimal cost point.
  5. Lead due diligence and qualification of new suppliers and technologies.

Skills

Required

  • Engineering degree or commercial discipline with applicable experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering/Procurement at a tech or consumer goods company
  • Proficient negotiator with proven abilities in influencing people at all levels
  • Ability to explain benefits to stakeholders and make sound recommendations
