Global Supply Manager (silicon / Osat)

The Global Supply Manager (Silicon / OSAT) will support Spectacles' product lines for in-house silicon design teams and back-end packaging for micro displays. This role involves owning commercial relationships, influencing commodity strategy, setting up and expanding relationships with semiconductor suppliers, establishing a robust supply chain for volume production, driving design-to-cost, and implementing contracts. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management within the semiconductor industry.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the commercial relationships with our partners as well as influence commodity strategy and direction with internal stakeholders like product and design teams.
  2. Setup and expand relationship with end-to-end semiconductor suppliers including, IP providers, foundry, bumping, die preparation, wafer sort, packaging, and testing vendors and equipment partners.
  3. GSM's at Snap get to be business owners responsible for commodity strategy, supplier selection, cost negotiations, continuity of supply, risk mitigation, as well as supporting overall project needs and timelines.
  4. Establish a robust supply chain to allow us to scale to volume production.
  5. Use your knowledge of the semiconductor industry to help drive Snap’s long term silicon and assembly strategies

Skills

Required

  • Ability to work and influence across teams and manage timelines
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, or commodity management associated with Semiconductor Foundry, Advanced Semiconductor Packaging, and OSATs.
  • Being able to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and at times ambiguous environments
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in multilingual as well as multicultural environments with partners in Asia, Europe and the US
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (preferred) or Supply Chain
  • Must travel 20% of the time internationally

Nice to have

  • Process integration and foundry management experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in the following a plus; batteries, PCB, Flexible PCB
