This role is for a Bilingual Mandarin Emerging Markets Account Executive at Toast, a restaurant platform company. The AE is responsible for new business acquisition in emerging markets, converting inbound leads, and uncovering new demand through referrals. Responsibilities include conducting discovery calls and product demonstrations, creating quotes and contracts in the customer's preferred language, and understanding the competitive landscape. The role requires fluency in both English and Mandarin, with sales experience preferred. Toast uses AI tools to support its hiring process, but this role is not directly involved in AI development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Following up on marketing qualified leads in the market you support
  2. Conducting discovery calls & product demonstrations in your customer’s preferred language
  3. Creating and reviewing quotes and contracts in your customer’s preferred language
  4. Ensure our onboarding team and customer are set up for success post sale
  5. Understand the competitive landscape in your market (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) to best position Toast
