Instacart is seeking a Lead, Sales Development to lead a team of Activation SDRs in prospecting and activating new brands. The role involves coaching the team on sales best practices, data analysis, and the CPG, advertising, and eCommerce landscape, as well as working cross-functionally to grow the business. The ideal candidate has sales leadership experience in advertising, CPG, or eCommerce.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and develop a team of high-performing Activation SDRs to achieve quarterly activation targets
  2. Measure and track key business and industry trends
  3. Activation, Team Lead - actively joining calls, developing and maintaining strong relationships with advertisers, managing all aspects of the sales cycle.
  4. Conduct daily activities, including outbound calls, emails, and social selling in a fast-paced transactional environment.
  5. Improve our sales process, collateral, and prospecting capabilities to make your team more effective and efficient

Skills

Required

  • History of exceeding sales goals/quota
  • Experience in a sales management environment and or 3-4 years experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the advertising industry.
  • History of developing early career professionals
  • Creative problem-solver
