Lead Salesforce Developer, Cpq

Toast Toast · Enterprise · United States · Remote · R & D : BTT : Engineering

This role is for a Lead Salesforce Developer focused on CPQ, driving technical solutions, architectural stewardship, mentorship, and release management within the Business Technology and Transformation team. The company mentions using AI tools to empower employees and in the hiring process, but the core role is not AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the development of high-performance Salesforce solutions, Salesforce CPQ, spanning Apex (Triggers, Async, Patterns), LWC, and complex integrations (REST/SOAP).
  2. Ensure all solutions adhere to best practices regarding the Salesforce Data Model, Security, Sharing, and Visibility.
  3. Act as a technical mentor to junior and mid-level developers. You will own the code review process, fostering a culture of high-quality, maintainable code and "review etiquette."
  4. Oversee the end-to-end deployment lifecycle, including GitHub PR processes, merge conflict resolution, and CI/CD best practices.
  5. Partner with leadership to provide accurate story sizing and project estimates within a SCRUM framework. You are expected to proactively identify blockers and escalate risks before they impact delivery.
