Marketing & Events Specialist – Anz *contract*

This role is for a Marketing & Events Specialist responsible for executing regional marketing strategies through events, campaigns, and communications. The specialist will plan and deliver brand activations, adapt global programs, and support sales and government affairs. Key responsibilities include event planning, localization of marketing assets, building partnerships, tracking ROI, and coordinating PR and vendor management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Plan and execute events, activations, and local experiences across Australia and New Zealand, including trade shows, summits, and partner programs
  2. Localize and deploy marketing assets, messaging, and social content for regional audiences
  3. Build partnerships with customers, associations, and industry influencers to increase awareness and adoption of Axon
  4. Partner with Sales and Government Affairs to support regional growth and relationship-building efforts
  5. Track and manage lead capture, event ROI, and post-event follow-up

Skills

Required

  • 2–4 years of experience in B2B or B2G (government) marketing, field marketing, or events
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Native-level fluency in English
  • Experience managing external agencies (PR, Digital, CRM, Social Media)

Nice to have

  • Prior experience working with or in U.S.-based companies is a strong plus
  • Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects independently
  • Excellent communication skills across teams, cultures, and time zones
