This role is for a Material Program Manager at Toast, focusing on supply chain visibility, materials oversight, and financial reporting for hardware operations. What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with CMs on Clear-to-Build (CTB) analysis and provide visibility into materials supply, projected coverage, and constraints across supply chain tiers.
  2. Develop data-driven allocation strategies for supply-constrained environments and standardize material allocations between Toast and CM vendors to prevent shortfalls and miscommunications.
  3. Manage protocols for consigned inventory and non-standard material handling, including coordination of shipments, POs, and reconciliation for high-value components sourced through third-party brokers.
  4. Proactively identify E&O inventory risks and present mitigation plans to leadership; support EOL transitions and next-generation component integration roadmaps.
  5. Act as the primary liaison for material reporting needs from Finance and Accounting, maintaining dashboards that provide cross-organizational visibility including PO cost tracking.
