This role is an embedded, agency-facing position focused on customer outcomes within a strategic account. The Mission Engineer will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Axon's ecosystem, including deployment, technical execution, adoption, and executive engagement. Responsibilities include supporting multi-product program delivery, providing onsite technical support, contributing to program governance, building relationships with agency leadership, driving adoption and value realization, sharing customer insights with Product and Engineering, identifying expansion opportunities, and tracking customer success metrics. The role requires experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, or complex deployment environments, with comfort across technical and operational domains.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end lifecycle execution across deployment, adoption, optimization, and ongoing success for a strategic account
  2. Support multi-product program delivery, helping align hardware, software, digital evidence, and integrated workflows
  3. Serve as a primary point of accountability for customer-facing outcomes, partnering with internal teams (Engineering, Support, Product, PSO)
  4. Provide onsite technical support and troubleshooting, helping coordinate resolution and root-cause analysis
  5. Contribute to program governance, including roadmap execution, risk identification, stakeholder alignment, and progress tracking

Skills

Required

  • Experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, or complex deployment environments (typically 8+ years, but we encourage applicants with varied experience to apply)
  • Comfort working across technical and operational domains, including hardware, software, networking, or integrated systems
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical teams and senior stakeholders
  • Experience supporting cross-functional programs or initiatives with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards
