This role is for a Manufacturing Operator at Axon, responsible for performing assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical components, following process flows and work instructions. The role involves using hand tools, machine tools, and computers for testing and data recording, while maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to strict safety and environmental guidelines. It requires attention to detail, good coordination, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify, prioritize, and simultaneously accomplish multiple tasks using time management.
  2. Perform tasks and motions ranging from basic in nature to complex.
  3. Repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies such as modules, boards and panels.
  4. Follow process flows, work instructions, standardized techniques, and sequence of operations in assembling parts, component installation, hand soldering, and sub-assemblies and units.
  5. Use computers to perform tests, download information or record test data

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Years of Work Experience
  • Ability to use hand tools, soldering iron, other industrial tools
  • Able to follow instructions and production schedules
  • Adaptable and able to act quickly when problems arise
  • Attention to detail
  • Good coordination, motor skills and dexterity
  • Ability to stand for upwards of 12 hours a day
  • Ability to lift, carry, move packages and materials up-to-50 lbs on a regular basis
