This role is for a Partner Manager at Block (Square) focused on developing and managing partnerships to enhance products and drive seller acquisition. What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with Product and GTM teams to develop and execute a holistic partner strategy, from partner integrations that enhance Square’s products to channel partners that drive new seller acquisition
  2. Own and execute partnerships end-to-end, from business development to partner launch and management
  3. Be accountable to KPI’s and business objectives each quarter
  4. Become an expert on Square's products, the market landscape, and seller needs
  5. Determine and prioritize the appropriate mix of partner benefits, incentives, and co-marketing + sales opportunities necessary to secure a lucrative partnership deal

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the technology sector
  • 3+ years in partnerships at a technology company
  • Experience with API integrations
  • Experience with channel partnerships
  • Proven ability to negotiate, sign, launch, and manage partnerships
  • Experience growing and distributing new products with partners
  • Highly entrepreneurial, proactive
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally
  • Experience building and managing relationships with senior business leaders
  • Able to think and communicate creatively, thoughtfully
