This role is for a Payments Pricing & Operations Manager at Toast, a company that provides technology solutions for restaurants. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and manage a team of analysts responsible for custom payments pricing analyses, operations and project management
  2. Lead key prospect and customer negotiations in partnership with Sales and Customer Success teams
  3. Deliver a best-in-class payments experience to Toast customers and prospects through successful communication and SLA accountability
  4. Become a subject matter expert regarding Toast’s payment solutions, deeply understand the payments value proposition, and how Toast Payments specifically meets customer needs
  5. Understand all of Toast Payments’s processes and procedures, constantly improving them to gain greater efficiency and accuracy

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 6+ years of experience in the Payments industry (e.g., Relationship Management, Pricing, Analytics, or related fields)
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to confidently navigate payments pricing conversations with both prospective and existing customers via email and Zoom
  • Deep financial and analytical capabilities
  • Metric driven and operationally minded
  • Must have experience directly managing a team, including responsibility for performance reviews, hiring, and professional development

Nice to have

  • Experience with Salesforce and SQL are a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills
